Rookies - 8U & 7U

The Rookie level is designed for coed ballplayers ages 7-8 years old. This division makes use of a manual pitching machine. The athletes will continue to learn and grow their basic skills of hitting, base running, throwing and catching. Scores will be kept and it will be a little more competitive than T-ball, yet be a fun supportive environment.

Ages

Players born between 5/1/2016 and 8/31/2018.

Players born between 5/1/2016 and 8/31/2016 will have the choice of playing Minors or Rookie
Players born between 5/1/2018 and 8/31/2018 will have the choice of playing Rookies or T-Ball

When

Games will take place twice a week during the months of June and July.

Where

Games are played at Plamann Park and Patriot Park.

Practices

Practices are determined by individual teams.

Games

Games will be played on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Games will consist of 6 innings or last for 75 minutes, whichever occurs first.

Jerseys

Team jerseys are provided. Jersey size is requested during the registration process.

VOLUNTEERING

Each family is asked to donate 3 hours to the organization. If you would prefer, there is an option to buyout of the volunteer hours for $100.
